Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll / Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant to join our UK & Ireland Application Management Services (AMS) team. This role is focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of SAP Payroll solutions by providing expert technical support, resolving complex issues, and driving continuous improvement across customer environments. You will work closely with customer stakeholders and Operations payroll teams to ensure SAP system solutions remain compliant, reliable, and aligned with evolving business and legislative requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert support for our British and Irish customers’ payroll-related issues, including troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
  • Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll solutions.
  • Manage and resolve payroll and HR incidents submitted through the C4C system, service requests, and change requests in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Provide expertise across Payroll (PY) and related HCM modules including PA, OM, TM, ESS/MSS.
  • Perform ongoing testing to ensure system efficiency and stability.
  • Analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions and system improvements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate services while maintaining compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system customisation and improvements, contributing to a best-practices knowledge base.
  • Provide professional guidance and support to Operations teams and various functional teams within the organisation.

Your Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience supporting SAP HCM Payroll and/or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
  • Strong understanding of UK and/or Irish payroll legislation and payroll processes.
  • Strong technical knowledge in customizing and testing across HCM Modules (PY PA, TM, ESS, MSS, T&E, OM etc.)
  • Experience working in an AMS, support, or managed services environment.
  • Hands-on configuration and testing experience within SAP Payroll.
  • Experience managing incidents, problem management activities, and change requests.
  • Strong customer-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and service management processes.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within an international team environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
