Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to lead complex SAP implementation, upgrade, and transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of SAP projects from initiation through project closure.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure project delivery within approved scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring appropriate mitigation and resolution plans are implemented.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, sponsors, executive stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Drive project governance activities, including steering committee meetings, executive updates, and project status reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage internal teams, external vendors, implementation partners, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address delivery challenges to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution among stakeholders while maintaining project momentum.
  • Ensure compliance with established project management methodologies, governance standards, and organizational processes.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to project team members and junior project managers when required.
  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices in SAP project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing SAP projects, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, or enhancement projects.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and/or migration projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP-related certifications is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

  • SAP S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, or RISE with SAP projects.
  • Experience managing multi-module SAP implementations (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, EWM, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or other SAP solutions).
  • Experience working in consulting, system integrator, or enterprise transformation environments.
