Bioanalytical Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Bioanalytical Scientist to join a world-renowned research institute providing expert technical and analytical services to a wide range of clinical and research-based projects.

About the Role

As Senior Scientist you will be responsible for developing, optimizing and troubleshooting LC-MS/MS Bioanalytical methods for quantitative analysis of small molecules. You will analyse and interpret complex datasets, support with day-to-day maintenance of instruments, contribute to the continuous improvement of existing methods, and help develop novel approaches to support evolving research needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS Bioanalytical methods for quantitative analysis of small molecules.
  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets.
  • Support with day-to-day maintenance of instruments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing methods.
  • Help develop novel approaches to support evolving research needs.

Required Experience

  • PhD, MSc, or BSc in relevant Scientific discipline.
  • 4 years practical LC-MS/MS (SCIEX preferred) experience, performing quantitative small molecule analysis and method development.

  • Extensive method development, optimization, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience of handling and working with biological/clinical samples e.g. cell lines, blood, tissue.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with scientific colleagues and stakeholders.
