Under the indirect supervision of a manager, you plan and organize cross-functional projects and develop consumer-centric objectives and strategies in response to business needs. You also interact independently with senior management and stakeholders.
How You Will Contribute
- Deliver on single or multi-stage complex projects, meeting standards and time frames by designing research and producing quality, actionable data.
- Lead all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer research and ensure that the data gleaned is translated into a cohesive story.
- Interpret results, report and present findings, and make recommendations that contribute to decision making.
- Lead descriptive panels, training, data analysis, reporting, and assess panelist’s performance.
- Interact with peers, junior developers/marketing, and other colleagues.
- May take on supervisory responsibility when completing assignments.
This role requires an understanding and the application of multivariate statistical methods to gain deeper understanding and insights from the research. Teamwork is essential in this position because you will participate on teams where new methodologies and capabilities are evaluated, proposed, and implemented. You will partner with key stakeholders (R&D and commercial/insights) to ensure that the work is aligned with strategic priorities and ensure that procedures are followed and the highest standards of work and environment, health, and safety are maintained.

This role will be split between Cocoa focused projects and Statistics/Digital. Cocoa is the largest material procurement spend area for Mondelēz with well over half the company’s revenue coming from products made with cocoa derived ingredients. Reflecting the recent shortages in supply and related price volatilities, Mondelēz has formed a Cocoa Enterprise Team to modernize and expand the future supply of cocoa through innovations, strategic investments, and a commitment to produce the best possible chocolate for our consumers. Your role will be to deliver on single or multi-stage complex projects, meeting standards and time frames by designing research and producing quality, actionable data. You will lead all aspects of sensory and consumer research and ensure that the data gleaned is translated into a cohesive story.

This role requires advanced expertise in Sensory and Consumer Science methods and analysis, along with a strong understanding of multivariate statistical methods, including BBN analysis and modelling skills, to gain deeper understanding and insights from the research. To that end, you will interpret results, report and present findings, and make recommendations that contribute to decision making.

What You Will Bring
- A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career.
- Qualification in food science, engineering, psychology, statistics, digital science, sensory science, food chemistry, or similar.
- Knowledge of sensory and quantitative consumer testing methods.
- Strong understanding of Statistics to analyze data and interpret results.
- Familiarity with digital/analytics and modelling tools.
- Experience or willingness to learn agentic assisted programming and coding.
- Handling multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines.
- Working with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Project planning and management skills.
- Problem solving, creating solutions, and working independently.
- Microsoft Office applications.
