Position Overview

This position offers the opportunity to lead Agile delivery across data platform and migration workstreams within a complex enterprise environment. The role is focused on enabling high-performing teams to deliver business value through effective Scrum leadership, clear governance, and strong stakeholder engagement. This opportunity will suit a technically strong delivery professional with experience supporting large-scale data transformation initiatives. The role also requires close collaboration across product, architecture, engineering, analysis, and business functions to maintain delivery momentum and quality.

Role Context

This opportunity sits within a major UK energy business operating in the oil and gas sector and supporting the wider energy transition. The role is aligned to strategic data and trading platform initiatives, with a focus on modernisation, migration, and delivery across critical business workstreams. Candidates will be working in an environment where effective coordination across multiple teams and disciplined delivery oversight are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach delivery teams on Agile principles, continuous improvement, team effectiveness, and delivery excellence.
  • Support planning, estimation, forecasting, release readiness, and cross-team coordination across multiple workstreams.
  • Remove impediments and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain predictable delivery outcomes.
  • Support delivery of large-scale data platform initiatives including migration, modernisation, ingestion, and data product development.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a prioritised backlog and support refinement, story decomposition, and roadmap planning.
  • Provide transparent delivery reporting, maintain RAID oversight, and support governance forums with clear status updates and performance metrics.
  • Build strong relationships across business, technology, and delivery stakeholders to support decision-making, prioritisation, and aligned execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
