Senior Consultant – Cyber Security (Critical National Infrastructure)

About the Role
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a passionate security-focused individual with an empathetic and client-facing approach. You will:
- Have substantial experience in security, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
- Be able to maintain senior-level client relationships while also developing and articulating Bridewell’s cyber security propositions to target markets.
- Operate primarily within Consulting, working with Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) clients to deliver a range of cyber security projects, including:
- Single risk assessments
- Development of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
- Supporting ISO27001 certification
- NIS2 compliance projects
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) consulting

Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: High-quality execution across engagements, including:
- ISMS development
- ISO27001 certification support
- NIS2 compliance alignment
- Gap analysis and Cyber Security framework assessments
- Tender & Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with leadership and sales teams to respond to bids and provide technical proposals.
- Peer Assurance: Quality assurance of consultant work as required.
- Methodology Development: Contribute to refining Bridewell’s security methodologies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, trends, and best practices through training and conferences.
Requirements
- Security Standards Implementation:
- Experience in ISO27001, NCSC Cyber Assurance Framework (CAF), NIST frameworks, and other security standards.
- Risk Assessment & Management:
- Cyber Security risk assessments
- Risk management ownership and mitigation strategies.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of IT systems including:
- Traditional infrastructure
- Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- SaaS applications
- Deep understanding of IT systems including:
- Operational & Leadership Experience:
- Previous role in security operations, governance, or leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Experience working with technical teams and board-level executives to drive security initiatives.
- Assessment & Compliance:
- Ability to conduct Cyber Security assessments and framework gap analyses.
