Senior GRC Consultant | Cyber Risk Advisory
£50,000 - £60,000 base salary + 10% bonus
You know ISO 27001 inside out.
You’ve delivered Cyber Essentials engagements, can confidently advise senior stakeholders and know how to turn complex compliance requirements into practical action.
Now you’re looking for a role where you’ll be trusted to lead, not simply handed a checklist. We are recruiting a Senior GRC Consultant for a growing UK cybersecurity consultancy experiencing strong client demand.
This is a visible, client-facing position for someone who enjoys taking ownership. You’ll independently lead GRC engagements, become a trusted advisor to clients and help organisations make meaningful improvements to their security, governance and resilience.
The essentials:
- Strong, hands-on ISO 27001 experience
- Practical Cyber Essentials delivery or auditing experience
- At least three years’ information security consulting or auditing experience
- Experience independently managing client-facing GRC projects
- The confidence to advise and present to senior stakeholders
- The ability to explain complex requirements clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to obtain UK Government Security clearance
- Experience with ISO 42001 and AI governance would make you especially interesting to us.
- ISO 9001 experience? That’s a definite bonus.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
