Overview of Role

Office: London (hybrid required - 40% in the office)
Duration: 6 month FTC (please note this is a FTC and NOT a day-rate contract)

Overview of Team

The Information Security Team is a central support unit responsible for providing a complete security service to the Walkers.

Role Profile

The Senior Security Engineer will report to the Information Security Operations Manager. The primary function of the role is to build and deliver security controls supporting critical Change initiatives including SIEM and PKI/BYOK integrations, Defender for Cloud, and Purview configuration. This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone with strong Microsoft, Azure, cloud, and enterprise security experience who can design, configure, and improve security solutions across a complex environment. While the candidate should be familiar with security monitoring and incident handling, this role is not suited to someone whose experience is limited to those areas.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
