Role: Senior Security Engineer (Security Operations)
Location: London 2 days per week
Salary: up to £120,000 fixed + bonus + shares
Reporting Line: Head of Security Operations

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex security investigations and incident response, acting as an L3 escalation point.
- Build, tune and maintain SIEM, EDR, detection and security tooling.
- Improve detection engineering, threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK coverage.
- Own log and telemetry onboarding, ensuring reliable security data across cloud, identity, endpoint and SaaS.
- Build automation, integrations and security workflows using APIs, scripting and cloud services.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years experience across SecOps or Detection Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, detection engineering and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar scripting.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, automation and Git-based engineering.
- Strong communication, documentation and decision-making skills.
