Senior Security Engineer

As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll take ownership of how we safeguard our digital platforms, identifying, assessing, and responding to security threats, and lead the way we harden systems at scale. You'll play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our systems and the trust of our customers, while mentoring others and helping shape how the team operates.

Reporting to the Detection and Response Lead, this is a hands-on role that blends technical depth with time zone local operational responsibility.

What you'll be doing…

• Conduct security audits and assessments across platforms and infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security monitoring, alerting, and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead incident response activities, including simulations and real-time investigations.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to harden systems and drive timely remediation of security updates.
• Monitor threat intelligence sources (including NCSC) and assess potential impacts.
• Lead vulnerability management end-to-end, including triage, analysis, and remediation, and continuously improve the processes behind it.
• Lead the review of penetration testing findings from internal and external assessments, driving remediation.
• Perform variant analysis to identify systemic vulnerabilities.
• Lead platform and product security evaluations, partnering with engineering teams on secure design.
• Be an active member of the 24x7 SOC capability.
• Mentor and guide more junior security engineers, and help raise the security engineering standard across the team.
• Represent Security on customer and cross-functional calls, to answer security-related questions and provide clear, trusted guidance.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture that encourages knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
