About The Role
A Senior Security Systems Engineer is required to join an established, family-owned NSI Gold-accredited security provider in Maidstone, Kent. This full-time, permanent position offers a basic salary of £42,000 per annum, with an OTE of £47,000 or more. Operating since 2012, the company specialises in designing, installing, and maintaining Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV systems for commercial, domestic, and government clients. The successful candidate will hold significant experience in the sector, demonstrating technical proficiency across these disciplines.
Responsibilities will encompass site surveys, commissioning, and fault diagnosis, alongside delivering high-quality maintenance. A strong commitment to professional standards is essential, given the sensitive nature of the client base and the company's Gold accreditation.

The Opportunity
They are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Security Systems Engineer to join their growing team. Depending on experience, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting a range of security systems across London, the Southeast, and occasionally further afield.
Quoting for new business and existing clients’ upgrades along with managing installations will also become part of your role. An understanding of security networking equipment would be desirable.
They can install any make/model of security system but typically they install Texecom, AJAX, AXIS, Avigilon, Hikvision and Ubiquiti systems
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of:
- Intruder Alarms
- IP CCTV (Smart & Networked)
- Access Control & Entry Systems
- Emergency Call Systems
- Networking equipment (if applicable)
- Fault-finding and preventative maintenance
- Remote diagnostics and occasional on-site callouts
- Working independently and as part of a team

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
- Recognised Intruder Alarm and/or CCTV course (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Must be 21+ for insurance purposes
- Able to pass BS7858:2019 security screening
