Partnering with a growing, private equity-backed global business looking for an experienced SEO and Automation professional to join the team as a Senior SEO & Automation Manager to lead the next evolution of organic growth.
The Opportunity:
As the Senior SEO & Automation Manager, you'll own the organic search strategy across a diverse portfolio, ensuring visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead SEO Strategy
- Own and develop the organic search roadmap across multiple websites.
- Drive technical SEO improvements including site architecture, crawl optimisation, and structured data.
- Ensure SEO best practices are embedded across content, development, and digital projects.
- Maximise visibility in both search engines and AI-driven search platforms.

Build AI & Automation Solutions
- Develop Python-based automation tools for keyword research, rank tracking, backlink monitoring, and competitor analysis.
- Integrate AI and machine learning into SEO workflows, including NLP for content optimisation and intelligent keyword clustering.
- Build APIs and automated data pipelines connecting SEO platforms, analytics tools, and internal reporting dashboards.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks and improve operational efficiency.

- Turn Data into Growth
- Create automated reporting dashboards using Python, Pandas, and data visualisation tools.
- Analyse SEO performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
- Use predictive modelling and AI to uncover new growth opportunities and forecast organic performance.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years' experience delivering successful SEO strategies with proven organic growth results.
- Strong technical SEO expertise including on-page optimisation, site architecture, and link acquisition.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and leading SEO platforms including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, STAT, Search Atlas, and Surfer SEO.
- Strong Python programming skills with experience building automation tools.
- Experience applying AI or machine learning to marketing or SEO challenges.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as scikit-learn, spaCy, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.

Preferred Experience:
- SQL and data engineering skills.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.
- Knowledge of JavaScript SEO and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
- Experience using BigQuery or enterprise-scale analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
