About the Role

Great Days Out helps people discover attractions, events, and things to do across the UK.

We’re looking for a Senior SEO Content & Ecommerce Executive to help grow our organic search visibility and ensure the content across our website remains useful, accurate, and up to date.

This is a content-led role with a strong focus on blog and editorial writing. A significant part of the role will involve researching, writing, and optimising content around days out, attractions, destinations, seasonal events, and family activities across the UK.

You’ll also support wider SEO content across the site, maintain attraction and ecommerce listings, and help identify opportunities to improve existing pages and content performance.

We’re looking for someone proactive, organised, and confident working independently. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership of your workload, researching unfamiliar topics, finding answers, and keeping work moving without needing constant direction.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Ecommerce to ensure our content supports both our audience and wider commercial goals.

Please apply with a CV and short covering letter.

Key Responsibilities

Blog & Content

  • Research and write engaging, high-quality blog and editorial content.
  • Produce regular articles covering attractions, destinations, seasonal events, school holidays, and things to do across the UK.
  • Create both evergreen and seasonal content based on search demand, audience needs, and commercial priorities.
  • Research topics thoroughly and ensure content is accurate, useful, and easy to read.
  • Refresh and improve existing articles where information or search performance has changed.
  • Support content across destination, regional, seasonal, attraction, and category pages.
  • Take ownership of content from research and writing through to optimisation and publication.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
