Role: Senior SEO & Content Executive

Location: Leeds, LS15 8GB

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE, plus extensive benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Employment type: Full time

Working hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week. We work on a core hours principle. Our core hours are 09:30 - 16:00; you can work around these to suit you!

Drive organic visibility, traffic and revenue growth through a strategic SEO and content programme that supports long-term customer acquisition and complements paid marketing activity. The SEO & Content Executive will be responsible for delivering technical, on-page and content SEO initiatives across the website and app, working closely with Ecommerce, Content and Analytics teams to increase high-quality organic traffic, improve search rankings and optimise conversion performance.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Support the delivery of the SEO and content roadmap to drive organic traffic and customer acquisition.
  • Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for content growth.
  • Optimise website and app content to improve search visibility and rankings.
  • Monitor and support improvements to technical SEO, site performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce, Content and Analytics teams to improve conversion performance.
  • Assist with content planning and creation, ensuring alignment with SEO best practice.
  • Support digital PR and backlink-building activities to increase brand visibility.
  • Use tools such as GA4 and Google Search Console to analyse and report on performance.
  • Test and evaluate SEO initiatives, making recommendations based on results.
  • Stay up to date with SEO trends and share best practice across the business.

Who are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience in SEO, either in-house or agency-side
  • Experience growing organic traffic and improving search performance
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4 and SEO tools such as Screaming Frog
  • Understanding of technical SEO, site performance and structured data
  • Experience planning, creating or optimising content for search
  • Confident analysing data and translating insights into action
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across teams
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and keeping up to date with SEO trends
