The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior SEO Executive to join an award-winning full-service marketing agency with an impressive client portfolio spanning both nationally recognised brands and ambitious regional businesses.
Following continued business growth, they're looking to strengthen their digital marketing team with an SEO professional who can take ownership of a small portfolio of key client accounts, delivering measurable organic growth through a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent client service.
Working closely with developers, content specialists, and account managers, you'll have the opportunity to shape SEO strategy, identify new growth opportunities, and demonstrate the commercial value of SEO to your clients. This is a role that offers genuine autonomy, where you'll be trusted to influence strategy while remaining hands-on with campaign delivery.
The business has ambitious but realistic growth plans, offering excellent opportunities for career progression within a collaborative and supportive agency environment.

Salary
- £35,000 - £45,000
Key Responsibilities
- SEO strategy & delivery - Take ownership of SEO activity across a portfolio of client accounts, prioritising initiatives that deliver the greatest commercial impact and long-term organic growth.
- Technical SEO - Carry out technical audits covering areas such as crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and site performance, working closely with developers to implement recommendations.
- Content & on-page optimisation - Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page optimisation, identifying opportunities to improve rankings, visibility, and user engagement.
- Client management & reporting - Build strong client relationships, presenting campaign performance, translating technical insight into clear recommendations, and identifying future growth opportunities.
- Data & insight - Use leading SEO platforms and analytics tools to identify trends, monitor performance, and continually refine client strategies.
- AI & innovation - Embrace AI tools to support research, reporting, and quality assurance while maintaining the expertise and judgement to deliver high-quality, commercially focused SEO recommendations.
- Collaboration - Work alongside content, development, and account management teams to ensure SEO is fully integrated into wider digital marketing campaigns.

About You
You will be an experienced SEO professional with around 3-4 years' experience delivering successful SEO campaigns, ideally within an agency environment.
You'll possess strong technical SEO knowledge alongside a solid understanding of content strategy, keyword research, and performance analysis. Just as importantly, you'll enjoy building relationships with clients and be confident explaining SEO concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
You'll thrive in this environment if you're naturally curious, commercially minded, and passionate about staying ahead of changes within the ever-evolving search landscape. Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and support SEO delivery would also be advantageous.
Agency experience would be beneficial, although candidates from an in-house background with experience managing complex SEO strategies will also be considered.
