Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior SEO/CRO Strategist based in the United Kingdom.
About the Role
As a Senior SEO/CRO Strategist, you will shape and lead long-term organic growth and conversion strategies for a portfolio of established B2B brands. You’ll combine technical SEO, content strategy, generative engine optimization (GEO), and conversion optimization to create measurable business impact. Working within a collaborative squad of project managers, writers, developers, designers, and analytics specialists, you’ll turn strategic ideas into effective execution. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping stakeholders understand complex opportunities and confidently invest in your recommendations. Data will play a central role in your work, from measuring performance to designing and evaluating experiments. The environment values curiosity, thoughtful experimentation, collaboration, and continuous optimization across both traditional search and the evolving AI landscape.
Accountabilities
- Lead SEO, GEO, and CRO strategy for a portfolio of up to six mid-market B2B brands, taking ownership of their long-term organic growth and conversion vision.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, building strong relationships and confidently communicating recommendations to executives, specialists, and other stakeholders.
- Develop holistic, business-focused content and optimization strategies designed around measurable goals and meaningful commercial outcomes.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives including audits, site architecture improvements, experimentation, and other opportunities to strengthen search visibility.
- Develop creative SEO strategies covering keyword research, content planning, link-worthy assets, and broader organic growth opportunities.
- Design and guide conversion optimization initiatives, using experimentation, analytics, and customer insights to improve website performance and user experience.
- Use data to demonstrate results and inform strategic decisions, leveraging tools such as GA4, GrowthBook, Google Sheets automations, and related analytics platforms.
- Coordinate and guide the work of specialists across content, development, code, and analytics to ensure strategic plans are effectively executed.
- Build alignment and buy-in around strategic recommendations while balancing client goals, user needs, technical realities, and business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with other Strategists through a shared, centralized optimization process, contributing ideas and learning across the broader team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
