Senior Service Advisor

An exciting opportunity to join our service team as Senior Service Advisor.

We are an independent Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, and SKODA service and parts centre in Birmingham.

Salary: £32,000-£36,000 plus bonus (OTE £40,600 with target set incentives).

Job Purpose:

  • To handle customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs and parts in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • To ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the department.
  • To record vehicle details and service histories accurately and effectively operate a customer follow-up system.
  • Planning the optimum utilisation of workshop capacity in cooperation with the Service Manager and Workshop Controller.

Key Objectives:

  • To ensure the department's presentation is maintained to the highest standard in line with company/manufacturers policies.
  • To ensure the highest degree of efficiency and understanding of customer requirements and to deal with any customer complaints courteously, promptly, and sympathetically.
  • To provide customer estimates according to company policy on schedules, times, parts, and pricing.
  • Where necessary, invite the customer to talk about a vehicle's problem directly with the technician, therefore aiding first-time fix and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Wherever necessary, instigate road tests with technician, ensure the customer is informed on the progress of their vehicle whenever appropriate, and advise the customer of all work carried out.

What we are looking for:

  • Individual with experience in the motor trade as a Senior Service or Parts Advisor.
  • Enthusiastic individuals with attention to detail.
  • A passion to deliver an excellent customer service experience and the ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
  • A well-presented individual with a desire, attitude, and character to succeed.
  • Valid UK driving license.
