Senior Service Advisor
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Service Advisor to join a well-established vehicle dealership, specialising in the sales, servicing and maintenance of commercial vehicles.
As a Senior Service Advisor, you will lead the Service Advisor team while ensuring an efficient after-sales operation and delivering excellent customer experience.
This full-time, permanent role offers a salary up to GBP 37,620 for 46.5 hours work week plus performance-related bonus of up to GBP 1,720 per annum and benefits.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Overseeing the daily operation of the Service Reception.
- Providing a professional service to customers in person and over the telephone.
- Scheduling vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair appointments.
- Preparing and managing repair orders using the dealership management system.
- Completing vehicle check-in procedures and recording customer requirements.
- Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Obtaining approval for additional repair work where required.
- Coordinating vehicle collections, deliveries and handovers.
- Explaining completed work and advising customers on future maintenance requirements.
- Reviewing vehicle service histories and identifying maintenance and upselling opportunities.

What We Are Looking For
- Previously worked as a Service Advisor, Service Adviser, Service Receptionist, Service Administrator, Aftersales Advisor, Customer Service Advisor or in a similar role.
- Prior experience working within automotive industry.
- Background in leading, coaching or supporting a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm.
- 1 in 4 Saturdays: 7:00am - 1:00pm
