Senior Service Advisor
Location: Darlington
Salary: £30,520 Basic Salary + Excellent Bonus Scheme (OTE £43,662)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pybus Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and well-established main dealer in Darlington. We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Advisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting a busy aftersales department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor ready to take the next step in their career, offering a competitive basic salary, outstanding earning potential, and the chance to work within a professional dealership environment.
The Role
As Senior Service Advisor, you will act as a key point of contact for customers while supporting the Aftersales leadership team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer enquiries and service bookings
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the service journey
- Explaining repair requirements and associated costs clearly and professionally
- Liaising with workshop technicians and service management
- Maximising service and repair opportunities through effective upselling
- Keeping customers informed on vehicle progress and completion times
- Handling customer concerns and ensuring prompt resolution
- Supporting and mentoring junior Service Advisors where required
- Ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and manufacturer standards

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised main dealer environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive aftersales processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven experience of achieving upsell and customer satisfaction targets
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- A positive and professional attitude
- Experience supporting colleagues or acting as a senior member of the team would be advantageous
- A full UK Driving Licence
