Senior Delivery Manager | Bristol | Hybrid | £70,000 - £90,000
Peaple Talent is partnering with a fast-growing Bristol-based AI company that is building at the cutting edge of agentic AI. With strong backing from experienced investors, the business is developing a suite of AI agents designed to help small businesses find and interact with customers, secure bookings, manage payments and more.
As the business continues to scale, they're looking for an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to support multiple software engineering teams and take ownership of delivery across a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with Engineering and Product, shaping delivery plans, removing blockers and helping teams become more predictable, autonomous and value-driven. You'll have genuine influence over how delivery operates as the organisation grows.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years' experience working as a Delivery Manager within software or technology environments
- Strong experience supporting and coaching multiple Agile engineering teams
- Proven track record of owning delivery commitments across complex technical or digital products
- Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience creating delivery roadmaps, capacity plans and realistic delivery forecasts
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience managing dependencies, risks, blockers and competing priorities across organisational boundaries
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and a track record of applying them effectively in real-world environments
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering to drive successful outcomes
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment

What You'll Be Doing:

- Owning delivery planning and commitments across multiple engineering teams and products
- Working with stakeholders to define timescales, priorities and longer-term delivery plans
- Coaching teams to become more predictable, sustainable and value-driven
- Removing blockers and managing dependencies and delivery risks
- Tracking delivery performance and using metrics to identify and resolve issues
- Driving continuous improvement across delivery practices
- Leading key functional deliverables and wider delivery excellence initiatives
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the delivery team
- Working as part of a Product, Engineering and Delivery trio to drive successful outcomes
