37.5 hours per week + 4 day work week option

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager - ILS to lead supportability and through-life support delivery for a complex defence programme based in Havant.
Reporting to the Programme Manager you will play a key role in ensuring supportability is designed into the solution from the outset while enabling responsive and effective in-service support delivery throughout the programme lifecycle.
Acting as a primary interface with MoD stakeholders, partner organisations and internal teams, you will lead the delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Post Design Support (PDS) activities within a multi-contractor defence environment.

This role combines programme delivery, customer engagement and technical leadership. You will lead a small team of ILS and PDS specialists while working collaboratively across engineering, logistics and programme functions to deliver high-quality support solutions aligned to customer and operational requirements.
At the outset of the programme, you will be instrumental in establishing the support delivery framework and implementing all ILS and PDS activities associated with the Integrated Support Plan, Supportability Case, associated element plans and ongoing in-service support deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface for MoD stakeholders and partner organisations on ILS and support delivery matters
- Lead the planning and delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Post Design Support (PDS) activities across the programme lifecycle
- Support development and delivery of the Integrated Support Plan, Supportability Case and associated element plans
- Establish collaborative relationships across customer, supplier and internal teams to ensure successful programme outcomes
- Deliver proactive and agile responses to ongoing support and service delivery requirements
- Ensure supportability requirements are designed into the system throughout development and in-service phases
- Lead or oversee:
- Supportability Analysis
- Logistics Readiness activities
- Software lifecycle support
- Technical documentation delivery
- Obsolescence management services
- Disposal analysis and disposal management
- Availability, Reliability & Maintainability (AR&M) analysis
- DRACAS activities and reporting
- Logistics demonstrations
- First Point of Contact oversight for support-related activities
- Provide leadership and direction to a small team of ILS and PDS specialists
- Support technical decision-making and prioritisation across support delivery activities
- Promote collaborative working practices across engineering, logistics and programme teams
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice within supportability and service delivery activities
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- UK Citizenship with current SC clearance, or the ability to obtain SC clearance
- Proven experience delivering Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Product Support, Supportability Engineering or Service Delivery within complex defence, aerospace or government programmes
- Experience working across CADMID/T lifecycle phases
- Strong understanding of defence supportability standards and processes, including:
- DEF STAN 00-600 Integrated Logistics Support
- Defence Logistics Framework
- Knowledge in Defence (KiD)
- DRACAS
- FMECA
- Support Options Matrix
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within customer-facing environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate effectively across customer, supplier and partner organisations
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving programme environment with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative and problem-solving capability

Desirable Experience
- Experience with ILS requirements verification and Support Maturity Levels
- Knowledge of lifecycle product support methodologies
- Previous experience supporting space and/or ground systems programmes
- Experience working within MoD or defence prime contractor environments
LMPeople Qualifications and Experience:
Generally has 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
