How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future
- Own the strategy, vision, roadmap and long-term goals for a Service Family, leading its lifecycle from concept through to retirement and ensuring alignment with Smart DCC’s wider business and development plans.
- Lead Lifecycle Management processes across Operations and wider DCC, collaborating with Technology, Commercial, Operations, Customer and Regulation teams to deliver effective end-to-end service outcomes.
- Act as a senior owner and champion for your service portfolio, driving governance, effective decision-making and continuous improvement while providing a point of escalation across commercial, operational, technical and customer functions.
- Take ownership of associated costs, budgets and financial risks, overseeing significant budgets and ensuring the anticipated benefits of the product or service are realised.
- Build strong relationships across DCC and with external stakeholders, using your leadership and influencing skills to navigate ambiguity, manage risk and drive collaborative, value-led outcomes.
What you need to bring:
- Significant senior-level experience in lifecycle management, product management and/or service ownership within Tier 1 telecommunications.
- Demonstrable experience delivering and managing complex products or services throughout their lifecycle, prioritising activity to achieve value-driven outcomes.
- Strong experience operating within technical and regulatory-led environments, with the ability to anticipate risks, solve complex problems and make effective decisions.
- A highly visible and impactful leadership style, with experience navigating ambiguity and change, motivating teams and suppliers, and driving collaboration across multiple functions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the credibility to build trusted relationships and work effectively with senior and executive leadership.
