Senior ServiceNow Developer - Permanent - London (hybrid) - £85,000 to 95,000 per annum
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a London-based global law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical ServiceNow solution designs.
- Design, configure and develop end-to-end solutions using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, access controls, notifications, forms and catalog items.
- Improve business processes through workflow automation, self-service and enhanced user experience.
- Implement ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist and AI Agents.
- Design and support enterprise integrations and custom scoped applications.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, performant and upgradeable, with appropriate technical documentation.
- Support ServiceNow releases, upgrades, testing, deployments, incidents and operational handover.
- Work with CMDB and platform data to maintain data quality and governance within Agile delivery practices.

Key Experience

- Typically 5+ years’ hands-on ServiceNow experience across design, development, configuration, testing, deployment and operational handover.
- Strong ServiceNow platform knowledge, architecture awareness and ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Strong experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, access controls, notifications, forms and catalog items.
- Integration experience with REST, SOAP, APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server and Import Sets.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS and XML.
- Experience developing custom scoped applications and workflows across areas such as ITSM, CMDB, Security Operations, Workplace Service Delivery, Contract Management and Discovery.
- Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities, or strong knowledge of Now Assist, AI Agents and AI Agent Studio.
- Experience working independently within Agile/Scrum environments and engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
- ServiceNow CSA, CAD and/or relevant CIS certification is desirable.
