Senior ServiceNow Developer
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop and support enterprise solutions across our ServiceNow platform, spanning both IT and business products. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, integrations, automation, GenAI and complex platform configuration, with experience delivering change across projects, programmes, agile teams and BAU demand. The role will support platform modernisation, automation and service management capabilities including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and CSDM.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and support ServiceNow solutions using platform best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Deliver complex configurations, workflows, integrations and automation solutions.
- Develop and support integrations using APIs, Integration Hub and enterprise integration patterns.
- Implement and enhance GenAI and AI-driven capabilities within ServiceNow.
- Support ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping solutions.
- Work across project delivery, programmes, agile squads and BAU demand pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business stakeholders and support teams.
- Contribute to platform governance, upgrades, release management and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience in a large enterprise environment.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts and Script Includes.
- Proven experience delivering complex ServiceNow configurations and custom solutions.
- Strong integration experience using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub and MID Server.
- Experience designing and implementing automation and orchestration solutions.
- Knowledge of GenAI, AI-assisted workflows and intelligent automation.
- Strong experience of ITSM and ITOM implementations.
- Understanding of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping and CSDM.
- Experience working across projects, programmes, agile delivery and BAU demand management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
