Client – A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join its Enterprise ServiceNow Platform team.
Role – This is an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow specialist with extensive experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions, particularly Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM). Working within a mature ServiceNow environment, you will play a key role in the design, development, governance, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring solutions align with best practices, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Engineering
- Design, develop and enhance enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow platform.
- Deliver scalable, secure and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Configure and customise ServiceNow using out-of-the-box best practices.
- Develop complex workflows, automations and integrations.
- Maintain platform performance, stability and governance.

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Implement and support ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
- Configure and enhance Business Continuity Management (BCM).
- Support Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) capabilities.
- Improve governance, compliance and operational resilience.
- Ensure platform configuration aligns with regulatory requirements.
- Support audit activities and IT Security requirements.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical governance and architectural guidance.
- Review and approve technical designs and platform enhancements.
- Mentor junior engineers and offshore development teams.
- Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis.
- Estimate development effort for enhancements and projects.
- Support Agile delivery across multiple workstreams.
Platform Optimisation
- Manage ServiceNow platform upgrades.
- Improve platform Health Scan scores.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
- Enhance integrations with enterprise applications.
- Promote adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities and platform features.
- Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and operational performance.

Documentation & Governance
- Produce technical documentation.
- Maintain policies, procedures and technical standards.
- Develop operational support documentation.
- Create user guides and training materials.
- Ensure platform governance and quality standards are maintained.
Key Skills
- Minimum 5 years' ServiceNow implementation and support experience
- Strong experience implementing Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- Experience delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions
- Experience working in highly regulated environments
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow platforms
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
