Senior Service Engineer – Pumps
We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical background and proven pump experience to join a leading company within the pump industry.
This is a varied, and technical role combining pump repair, on-site engineering and workshop coordination, with an opportunity to take on junior leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strip, inspect, repair, rebuild and test pumps, both in-house and on-site.
- Assemble pump sets and carry out installations, fault-finding and site surveys.
- Prepare technical reports and assist with quotations, costing and repair-versus-replacement decisions.
- Help coordinate workshop workloads, job scheduling and daily operations.
- Liaise with Sales, Works and Stores to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping and workshop organisation.
- Support the maintenance of workshop machinery, building facilities and calibrated equipment.

About You
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
- Essential experience in pump repair, service or maintenance.
- Practical fault-finding, fitting and repair skills.
- Good organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach with the ability to support colleagues and coordinate workshop activities.
