Purpose Of The Job
To produce to the target shift output safely and to prescribed quality standards. To supervise and develop production setters and operators. To actively participate in site continuous improvement programs. To provide cover for the Team Leader when required to do so.
Principal Accountabilities
- Support the Team Leader to deliver the KPI’s
- Develop the team and deliver WCM (World Class Manufacturing) practices
- Ensure all production data is captured through paper or electronic means
- To make sure that machine checks are accurate and that faults are raised accordingly
- Flexible approach to duties and any other reasonable requests from Line Manager
- Accurately transact within SAP & St-one providing accurate data, and investigate discrepancies
- Effectively encourage good communications when handing over the shift, ensuring all information is communicated accurately
- Ensure all Cleaning Activities are completed to the Sites standards and procedures (GMP, CIP, Allergen Controls)

- Machine Setter experience/Mechanically Minded with attention to detail
- Literate & Numerate
- Entails standing all day at machine and lifting up to 25kg
- Problem solving, trouble shooting
- Team Player with flexible attitude
- Able to work on own initiative after training
- Effective Communicator/Interpersonal skills
- Computer Literate
- Organisation Skills
NVQ in food, hygiene, manufacturing, health & safety and quality related qualifications an advantage.
