Role Description
The Senior Site Cleaning Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations at a designated client site. This role manages and supports cleaning teams, allocates tasks and schedules, and ensures that all areas are cleaned to agreed standards and in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements. The supervisor monitors quality, conducts regular inspections, addresses issues promptly, and implements improvements to maintain high service levels. They also handle stock control for cleaning materials and equipment, maintain accurate records, and provide clear communication between the site team, clients, and Andron management. The role involves training and developing team members, supporting performance management, and promoting safe working practices and a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience supervising cleaning teams or facilities staff in a commercial or multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, methods, equipment, and health and safety practices (including COSHH and safe use of chemicals).
- Ability to plan rotas, allocate tasks, and manage workloads to meet service levels and deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members, clients, and management.
- Experience conducting site inspections, quality audits, and implementing corrective actions.
- Competence in basic IT systems for reporting, timekeeping, and record management.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff, supporting performance and development.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Understanding of ESG principles and sustainable cleaning practices is an advantage.
- Relevant cleaning or facilities management certifications, and prior experience in soft FM, are beneficial.
