SENIOR SITE ENGINEER

Salary: £65,000 + £7,200 Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Private Medical
Location: Cardiff
Role: Permanent - Full Time

We're partnering with a major UK contractor that is investing heavily in the future of energy and infrastructure. Due to continued project wins, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an experienced Site Engineer ready to take ownership of larger sections of work and provide leadership within a delivery team.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing engineering activities on site
  • Reviewing drawings and technical information
  • Supporting temporary works planning and coordination
  • Ensuring quality plans and inspections are completed
  • Producing and reviewing RAMS
  • Coordinating subcontractors and site operations
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working as a Senior Site Engineer, Site Engineer or Section Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
  • Experience with RAMS, ITPs and quality processes
  • Temporary Works awareness
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Backgrounds from infrastructure, utilities, highways, rail, power, renewable energy or major civil engineering projects are all highly desirable.
