A well-established and highly respected main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team on a major education project in the Shetland Islands. Your new role

As Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a landmark £100m+ education development in Shetland. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate site activities, lead site meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders throughout the construction programme.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as a Senior Site Manager delivering large-scale construction projects, ideally within the education, healthcare or public sector environment. You will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment. A valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualification will be required, with experience working on projects valued in excess of £50m viewed favourably.
