An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join one of the UK's leading Tier 1 principal contractors on the delivery of a flagship hyperscale data centre in East London.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of a major external envelope package, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of complex façade and external envelope packages.
- Coordinating cladding, rainscreen, curtain walling and associated façade subcontractors.
- Driving programme performance while maintaining exceptional health, safety and quality standards.
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications and technical requirements.
- Working closely with engineering, commercial and planning teams to achieve key project milestones.
- Managing site logistics, sequencing and interface coordination with internal trades.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
- Mentoring Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and supervisors while promoting best practice across site.

Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Current or recent experience working for a Tier 1 principal contractor.
- Proven experience delivering major commercial construction projects valued at £100m+.
- Extensive experience managing external envelope packages, including cladding, façades, rainscreen systems and curtain walling.
- A strong understanding of façade installation, sequencing, quality assurance and technical compliance.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, health & safety legislation and quality assurance.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
