Senior Site Manager
We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our team on a project at Isle of Wight College. This is a key site-based leadership role, responsible for driving the successful delivery of works within a live education environment.
You will play a central role in managing site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while maintaining a positive and well-organised project environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading day-to-day site operations to ensure safe and effective project delivery
- Managing and supporting Site Managers, supervisors and subcontractors
- Coordinating trades and activities to meet programme requirements
- Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are consistently upheld
- Driving quality across all aspects of delivery and ensuring compliance with specifications
- Managing site logistics and working effectively within a live campus environment
- Supporting programme delivery, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively
- Maintaining strong communication with the project team, stakeholders and end users

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within construction
- Experience delivering projects in live environments (education or similar settings beneficial)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive performance
- Excellent understanding of health & safety, quality and site processes
- Ability to manage programme pressures and coordinate multiple trades
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
- Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS are desirable
