Senior Site Manager

We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our team on a project at Isle of Wight College. This is a key site-based leadership role, responsible for driving the successful delivery of works within a live education environment.

You will play a central role in managing site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while maintaining a positive and well-organised project environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading day-to-day site operations to ensure safe and effective project delivery
  • Managing and supporting Site Managers, supervisors and subcontractors
  • Coordinating trades and activities to meet programme requirements
  • Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are consistently upheld
  • Driving quality across all aspects of delivery and ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Managing site logistics and working effectively within a live campus environment
  • Supporting programme delivery, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively
  • Maintaining strong communication with the project team, stakeholders and end users

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within construction
  • Experience delivering projects in live environments (education or similar settings beneficial)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive performance
  • Excellent understanding of health & safety, quality and site processes
  • Ability to manage programme pressures and coordinate multiple trades
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
  • Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS are desirable
