Site Manager - HMP Glasgow

Location: HMP Glasgow, Glasgow

Hours: 42.5 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a flagship project delivering a modern, safe, and energy-efficient facility in Glasgow. You'll be overseeing building envelope packages across multiple buildings, covering brickwork, curtain walling, and cladding systems on this £750M campus development.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Manager, You'll Be Working Within The HMP Glasgow Team, Supporting Them In Delivering This Significant Construction Project. Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Leading daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain project timelines
  • Monitoring progress and ensuring quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to
  • Managing site logistics and maintaining accurate site records and documentation
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Manager is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrable experience managing large-scale construction projects
  • You possess strong leadership and team management skills
  • You have an excellent understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and health & safety regulations
  • You hold SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid at Work qualifications
  • You have a Full driving licence
