Senior Site Manager - Externals

South East London | Residential Development | £Competitive + Package

The Opportunity

A leading contractor/developer is embarking on a major new 500-unit luxury residential development in South East London, with the project scheduled for completion over the next four years. As part of the continued growth of the project team, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong background in external works to take responsibility for key packages throughout the build. The development will comprise high-quality RC frame apartments, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional standards across the external envelope and finishes.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating external packages across the development, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. The successful Site Manager will have proven experience working on large-scale residential schemes and a strong understanding of:

  • Piling and RC Frame construction
  • Brickwork packages
  • Precast cladding systems
  • External envelope and façade works
  • High-rise residential developments of up to 20 storeys
  • Managing subcontractors and specialist external trades
  • Maintaining programme, quality and health & safety standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
