Senior Site Manager

We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team based on site in Rainham.

Location

Site Based - Rainham

Hours

Full time - 40 hours a week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead construction projects with a value of up to £7m from start to finish. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of your assigned project, ensuring it's delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working collaboratively with your team and stakeholders, you'll play a vital role in building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional results.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be working within the Construction Team, supporting them in delivering successful projects across various sectors. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading and motivating site operational staff to ensure safe and effective project delivery
  • Managing procurement, installation and commissioning activities across your project
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Implementing project plans and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Monitoring project progress, quality, and costs to maximise customer satisfaction and profitability

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Site Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS qualification
  • You have demonstrable experience in a site management role with a proven track record in the construction industry
  • You're an excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and build strong relationships
  • You have a proactive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management
  • You're highly organised, IT competent, and understand construction methods, planning techniques, and risk management
