£65,000-£68,000 & Package
Sphere Solutions are working with a successful large regional contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major new scheme in Bideford, North Devon. The successful Senior Site Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day construction activities on this major development, working closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of construction activities
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors and trades
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
- Plan, coordinate and monitor construction activities across the development
- Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider project team
- Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners
- Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or issues
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards
- Manage site logistics, sequencing and resource requirements
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are met
- Attend and contribute to site and project meetings
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Provide leadership, direction and support to the wider site team

About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager
- Strong traditional build experience
- Previous experience delivering multi-storey residential developments or apartment schemes
- Experience working with precast concrete and complex structural elements
- Experience managing subcontractors and large site teams
- A strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics
