Role Overview

The Site Manager will oversee all construction works of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within budget, time, and quality requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate construction activities of multiple subcontractors on-site (managing several projects in parallel)
  • Monitor and report on construction activities, resources, and schedules, preventing shortages or delays
  • Act as owner’s representative on-site, aligning projects with internal/external stakeholders against work process (WPM) standards
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations, inspecting site safety and addressing risks promptly
  • Support quality inspections, including documentation of photos, reports, and quality records
  • Oversee the identification, documentation, and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
  • Plan construction works during the development phase and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Utilise integrated software systems (built around lean construction and WPM principles) for transparent reporting

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience leading construction of renewable energy projects, preferably in photovoltaic projects with an electrical background
  • Deep knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, and safety standards (civil, electrical, and mechanical)
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management—aligning field teams, subcontractors, and project targets

Key Competencies

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills for managing diverse teams effectively
  • Experience with project management/construction software, especially tools aligned with WPM and lean workflows
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving and cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to work autonomously in a team while adapting to multi-week assignments (80% travel)
  • Valid driver’s license for site-based work across core markets
