About The Role
Senior Site Managers in Plymouth are sought for a long-term contract, offering a competitive rate with a self-employed option. This role involves leading an external refurbishment programme, focusing on facade installation and cladding remediation. Working for a specialist contractor who has a proven track record in similar schemes, the Senior Site Managers would be leading the project, (Facade installation & cladding remediation works) and will have daily responsibility for delivering the project safely, and within the prescribed budget and time allocations.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Communication: Conducting & organising meetings and briefings, liaising with client consultants, supply chain, and senior management
- Health & Safety: Inductions, checks and site surveys, reviewing the RAMS, compiling H & S packs
- Inspections: Reviewing alarms, temporary structures, and other aspects of the project under change
- Administration: Ensuring site logs and diaries are updated, conducting drawing reviews, updating the programme, and coordinating variations
- Management: Of logistics, staff, and supply chain

You should have a demonstrable work history reflecting previous experience of external works (EWI, Glazing, Cladding, Rainscreen) and building remediation works, be used to working within a principal contractor capacity, and have a sound and thorough understanding of building control and structural warranty standards.
Proficient in MS Project and MS applications, and fluent in JCT Contracts, and, as this is a fully site-based role, you should also have SMSTS, CSCS, First aid at work with Scaffold awareness/PASMA being advantageous.
