Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
London, hybrid, one day a week onsite
Up to £90,000 plus 10% cash allowance, 10% non contributory pension and discretionary bonus
We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with hands on Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform experience to join a major financial services organisation. Taking a "build it, own it, run it" approach, you’ll be accountable for service health and help improve how systems perform, scale and recover. As the team’s Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll also represent SRE across the wider business, working with engineering and delivery colleagues to establish reliable ways of working.

The Role
- Keep systems healthy, reliable and ready to handle growing demand.
- Resolve incidents and keep colleagues and stakeholders informed.
- Improve monitoring, automate routine work and make releases safer.
- Work with engineering and delivery teams to tackle problems and manage risk.
- Guide colleagues and represent SRE across the wider business.
Requirements
- Hands on Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform experience.
- An Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) background with responsibility for running live services.
- Experience with microservices, containers and API management.
- Full stack monitoring and observability experience.
- Experience with DevOps, pipelines, releases and automation.
- Experience in a large organisation with established processes.
- Confidence working with stakeholders, leading improvements and supporting colleagues.
- Bicep, Azure DevOps, IT Service Management, ServiceNow and financial services experience would be useful.
