About your role
The purpose of this position is provide total engineering support for the site's Blends Manufacturing Facility, ensuring delivery of utilities and facilities services to meet site customers' requirements and support site operations effectively.
What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain key infrastructure assets including major electrical systems (HV & LV), building management/control systems, water systems including cooling towers compliant with Legionella legislation, steam supply and distribution, compressed air production and distribution, and inert gas supplies.
- Provide total engineering support to the Blends Manufacturing Facility including cold stores, ensuring minimal operational downtime.
- Collect, document, and report utility consumption data and findings from investigations.
- Maintain supplies of bulk materials such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, caustic, salt, and hydrochloric acid, communicating any supply issues impacting production.
- Support the Site Services Manager in strategic development and functional delivery of site services.
- Operate engineering facilities in compliance with ISO 9002 standards and health and safety regulations, driving a strong EHS culture.
- Provide flexible cover for absent colleagues and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues cost-effectively and efficiently.
- Apply Operational Excellence (OE) and Continuous Improvement (CI) principles to daily activities.
- Make decisions related to blends manufacturing and utilities outside office hours as required.
- Lead and provide direction to the shift team, ensuring effective coordination, prioritization, and performance during shifts.
- Balancing maintenance and operational support to ensure production is not compromised while maintaining critical site utilities and infrastructure.
- Prioritizing tasks dynamically based on customer needs and site operational demands.
- Ensuring compliance with multiple regulatory standards including health & safety, Legionella legislation, ISO 9002, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinating with multiple internal teams and external service providers to maintain seamless utility delivery.
- Managing supply chain risks related to bulk materials critical for site operations.
- Leading and managing the shift team to maintain operational effectiveness and respond to dynamic site needs.

What You need to be successful
Essential
- Degree educated or equivalent with strong analytical capability and learning agility
- Experience in commercial, eCommerce, digital, customer, data, operations or account support role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities accurately to deadline
- Good analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear action
- Strong Excel and systems capability with confidence to learn new platforms quickl
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration
- Good organisational and project coordination skills
- Commercial awareness of pricing, promotions, availability, content and digital execution impact

Desirable
- Experience within FMCG, retail or eCommerce sector
- Familiarity with digital shelf measurement platforms such as Data Impac
- Experience managing product information systems like Salsify, Brandbank, Amazon Vendor Central
