About The Role

Join Enfuce at a pivotal moment as we build and scale our next-generation card processing platform. As a Senior Subject Matter Expert in Card Issuing, you will define and lead new card scheme integrations, work directly on certification artifacts, test cases and scheme (Visa, Mastercard) validation flows.

This is a hands-on, highly influential role where deep card-issuing expertise meets platform leadership. You will work closely with architecture, product, and scheme partners to drive certifications, define standards, and ensure Enfuce’s processing capabilities are robust, compliant, and future-proof.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Utilize extensive experience in card issuing, chip profiles, EMV scripts, tokenization, and compliance across scheme ecosystems.
  • Execute test cases and own the end-to-end certification and integration with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard), acting as the primary SME authority across internal teams and scheme counterparts, deeply analysing and resolving issues during certification and production.
  • Lead process flows definition with software architects.
  • Partner with scheme representatives and internal stakeholders to turn complex scheme rules into clear guidance that supports business needs, technical simplicity, and product decisions.
  • Actively share domain knowledge with team members through delegation, mentoring, and documentation.
  • Assist in migration topics and integration options with Visa/Mastercard.
  • Serve as point of contact for the customer to support defining workflows and gathering requirements based on their business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements, challenging leadership decisions when necessary.
  • Advocate for the use of available tools from Mastercard and educate stakeholders on their benefits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
