SOC Analysts & SOC Shift Leads | London | Up to £84,900 + 25% Shift Premium
We're supporting one of the world's leading technology and professional services organisations as they continue to expand a brand-new 24/7 Security Operations Centre supporting cutting-edge, highly secure digital infrastructure.
Whether you're looking to take the next step as a Senior SOC Analyst, an experienced Lead SOC Analyst, or already have experience leading SOC teams as a SOC Shift Lead, this is an opportunity to join a global organisation investing heavily in cyber security, AI and next-generation technology.
Opportunities Available
SOC Analyst
- Salary: £43,800 - £51,500
- Plus: 25% shift premium
- Experience: 1-3 years in a SOC environment
- Strong graduates with relevant cyber certifications and hands-on experience will also be considered.
Lead SOC Analyst
- Salary: £57,100 - £67,100
- Plus: 25% shift premium
- Experience: 4-7 years in a SOC, Incident Response or Threat Detection role.
SOC Shift Lead
- Salary: £70,000 - £84,900
- Plus: 25% shift premium
- Experience: 7+ years
- Previous experience leading SOC teams, mentoring analysts and driving technical development is essential. The role involves acting as the senior technical escalation point during your shift and supporting operational leadership.

The Opportunity
You'll be joining a newly established cyber security function responsible for protecting critical, high-performance technology environments operating 24/7. Working alongside experienced cyber professionals, you'll investigate sophisticated threats, respond to security incidents and help strengthen the security posture of one of the world's largest consulting and technology organisations as it delivers complex programmes for government and enterprise clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Investigating and responding to cyber security incidents.
- Monitoring and analysing security events across enterprise environments.
- Conducting incident triage, containment and remediation.
- Working with SIEM and security monitoring technologies.
- Collaborating with wider cyber and infrastructure teams to improve security operations.
- For Lead and Shift Lead positions, mentoring junior analysts and supporting continuous improvement within the SOC.

What We're Looking For
- Experience working within a Security Operations Centre.
- Good understanding of incident response and cyber threat analysis.
- Experience using SIEM platforms (no specific vendor required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant cyber security certifications are advantageous.
Essential Requirements
- Sole British National (dual nationality cannot be considered).
- Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance, including meeting the relevant residency requirements.
- Comfortable working a 24/7 onsite shift pattern (28-day rotation).
- You'll receive an additional 25% shift premium on top of your base salary for participating in the shift rota.
