Senior SOC Engineer

Join our growing Security Operations Centre (SOC) as a Senior SOC Engineer, leading the design, deployment, and optimisation of security solutions built around the SentinelOne Singularity platform. You'll play a key role in customer onboarding, platform enhancement, and strategic service development while acting as a technical leader and mentor within the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of SentinelOne-based SOC solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Design, deploy, and support SIEM, XDR, EDR, SOAR, and telemetry solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex engineering challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance detection, automation, resilience, and operational efficiency.
  • Support customer engagements, technical workshops, solution design, and pre-sales activities.
  • Mentor and develop engineers while contributing to engineering standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with SOC Operations, Detection Engineering, Automation, and Security Optimisation teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in Security Engineering, SOC Engineering, or a similar cybersecurity role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the SentinelOne Singularity platform, including XDR, AI SIEM, and EDR technologies.
  • Experience integrating and onboarding log sources across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  • Knowledge of automation, API integrations, telemetry pipelines, and security orchestration.
  • Experience scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong understanding of SOC operations, detection engineering, incident response, and attacker methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading projects from design through implementation and operational handover.

Desirable

  • Experience with SentinelOne Hyper Automation (SOAR), Cloud Native Security, Identity Protection, or Purple AI.
  • Experience building custom integrations, parsers, and automation workflows.
  • SentinelOne certifications.
  • Experience within an MSSP or managed SOC environment.

Additional Information

  • Must be eligible for, or willing to obtain, NPPV and/or SC clearance.
  • Occasional travel may be required for customer engagements.
