Create the content. Grow the audience. Shape the strategy.
We're looking for a creative, social-first thinker who knows what makes people stop scrolling - and understands what makes great content perform. This is an opportunity to take ownership of organic social across a portfolio of established home and interiors brands, with the freedom to develop new ideas, create standout content and help shape how our brands show up socially. You'll be behind the camera as well as behind the strategy - developing concepts, filming and editing content, creating social graphics, building recurring content series, engaging our communities and using performance insights to understand what works and what we should do next. If you're equally comfortable creating a Reel, designing a carousel, spotting the next content opportunity and digging into the numbers afterwards, we'd love to hear from you.
About Us
Interior Goods Direct is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and online retailers of made-to-measure blinds, shutters and curtains. From our state-of-the-art facility in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, we design and manufacture products for a portfolio of successful home and interiors brands and have delivered more than two million window coverings nationwide. With annual marketing investment exceeding £10m and ambitious plans for growth, this is an exciting time to join our in-house marketing team and help take our organic social presence to the next level.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll own and evolve organic social content across multiple brands. This isn't a role focused simply on filling a content calendar. We want someone who can develop social-first ideas and repeatable formats that audiences genuinely want to watch, save, share and engage with. You'll balance brand storytelling, interiors inspiration, product education, trends, culture and commercial priorities - creating content that builds audiences while supporting wider brand and business growth. You'll also have plenty to work with creatively, from new product launches to behind-the-scenes access to our Yorkshire manufacturing facility, seasonal interiors trends and wider brand campaigns.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
