Help millions of people discover the stories that shaped their lives.
At Findmypast, part of DC Thomson, we help people uncover the people, places and moments that connect them to their past. Through Findmypast and the British Newspaper Archive, we give millions of people access to family history, historical records and stories that might otherwise have been lost.
We're looking for a Senior Social Creative & Conversion Manager to lead the creation of social-first content that doesn't just stop the scroll, but inspires action.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social and content specialist who combines creativity with commercial thinking. You'll develop standout social campaigns, create compelling short-form video, collaborate with teams across the business and use insight and experimentation to grow audiences, increase customer acquisition and improve subscription conversion.
If you're passionate about creating social content that delivers measurable impact and thrive at the intersection of storytelling, marketing and performance, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As our Senior Social Creative & Conversion Manager, you'll translate audience insight, product priorities and commercial objectives into high-performing social creative across Findmypast, the British Newspaper Archive and selected international markets.
You'll own the journey from creative concept through to execution, analysis and optimisation, helping ensure our social activity works harder to drive registrations, trials and subscriptions.
Working closely with Brand, Performance Marketing, Product, UX, CRM and Analytics teams, you'll help create seamless customer experiences that connect compelling content with commercial outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
