Senior Social Designer & Video Editor

iGaming, Sports & Social Content

2 days Sowerby Bridge office | 3 days WFH

We’re Socialtrend, a specialist social media agency working with major brands across iGaming, sports and online entertainment.

We’re looking for a Senior Social Designer & Video Editor to join our existing design team and take a leading role in the creative output we produce every day.

This is not a traditional graphic design role.

We need someone who understands how content actually works on social media.

You’ll be designing fast-turnaround sports graphics, casino content, motion graphics, social posts and infographics, while also editing everything from 15-second reactive clips to vox pops, interviews and longer-form video.

A big part of the role is speed. If something happens during a football match, tournament or major sporting event, we may want content live that same day — sometimes within the hour.

You need to be comfortable working at that pace without sacrificing quality.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating daily social media graphics across multiple major client accounts
  • Producing fast-turnaround reactive sports content around live matches, tournaments and breaking moments
  • Designing sports infographics, statistics, results, fixtures and data-led social content
  • Creating casino and iGaming social media graphics
  • Designing animated social posts and motion graphics
  • Editing short-form video for Reels, TikTok, Shorts and X
  • Editing longer-form interviews, features and branded content
  • Turning raw footage into engaging, social-first edits
  • Editing vox pops and content filmed at football grounds and live sporting events
  • Creating video overlays, graphics, captions, transitions and branded visual elements
  • Building strong opening hooks and maintaining pacing and retention throughout edits
  • Creating daily content-calendar assets at volume
  • Taking briefs from concept through to finished creative
  • Developing templates and creative systems that allow the team to work quickly without everything looking templated
  • Reviewing work and helping maintain creative standards across the wider design team
  • Supporting and mentoring three other designers
  • Working closely with Social Media Managers and Account Managers to turn ideas into content quickly

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You should instinctively think about:

  • What makes someone stop scrolling?
  • What is the hook in the first second?
  • Can someone understand this graphic immediately?
  • Does this need to be static, animated or video?
  • How quickly can we get this live while the moment is still relevant?

We're looking for someone who combines design ability, editing ability and social instinct.

Nice to have

  • Strong interest in football and major sporting events
  • Experience creating reactive sports content
  • Experience working with sports statistics and data visualisation
  • Experience editing content filmed at live events or football grounds

The opportunity

You'll join an established creative team of three designers as its senior member, helping set the creative standard across the department while remaining very hands-on yourself.

You'll work across major iGaming and sports brands, producing content that can be seen by millions of people.

This is a role for someone who wants to make things every day, move quickly and have genuine influence over the creative direction of the work.

As the agency grows, there is scope to take increasing responsibility for creative direction, processes and the development of the wider design team.
