Senior Social Media and Campaigns Executive
We're looking for a Senior Social Media and Campaigns Executive to scope, design, deliver, and drive forward highly impactful, creative, and audience-specific marketing communications, content, and campaigns that bring our brand positioning to life and support our internal clients in winning new work.
The role
As a Senior Social Media and Campaigns Executive, you'll sit at the heart of our PR and Communications team, owning the firm's social media channels and developing and executing social media strategies that amplify our campaigns, raise brand awareness, and drive meaningful engagement with our audiences.
You'll help to implement firmwide, strategic, well-researched, multi-channel campaigns, collaborating with internal clients and the wider Client & Marketing function, and work closely with the Business Development team to support target market group campaigns. You'll also support the PR & Communications Manager in delivering content and communications, turning complicated information across a wide range of subjects into clear and compelling storytelling for a broad audience.
This role can be based across our Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, or London offices.
What you'll be doing
- Lead our social media presence — taking day-to-day ownership of the firm's social media channels, maintaining a forward-looking content calendar, and tracking and analysing performance metrics to continuously improve content and campaign results.
- Plan and deliver creative campaigns — contributing ideas, conducting audience research, collaborating across Business Development & Marketing, and leading on the social media strand of all campaigns across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other relevant channels.
- Develop compelling content — producing content across multiple channels, including blogs, thought leadership, and case studies, aligned with our DEI, social mobility, early careers, and ESG initiatives, and ensuring all content embodies the Browne Jacobson brand and tone of voice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
