Description
Reporting to the Head of PR & Brand Communications, you will play an integral role in delivering the Social Media strategy for Mountain Warehouse, Animal and EMS. You will be working within a busy social and PR environment, growing the social presence for our long-established brands. You will play a key role within our rapidly expanding team, working not only in the UK market but also in growth areas such as North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. You will work closely with various internal teams, media outlets, and influencers to deliver compelling campaigns that resonate with our broad audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Head of PR & Brand Communications to develop and execute social media campaigns that align with our goals and values.
- Building and maintaining relationships with talent agents and influencers.
- Attending meetings with key internal stakeholders such as Buying teams and other marketing channels.
- Staying on top of key social trends, viral news, and opportunities. Sharing updates with senior team members.
- Researching and fulfilling product orders for VIP gifting, ambassador requests, and influencer partnerships.
- Creating social highlights for the fortnightly Coverage Highlights presentation.
- Directing the bi-monthly social media photoshoot.
- Liaising with product teams to ensure hero lines are included in monthly social schedules.
- Developing social media schedules and planning creative content ideas.
- Working closely with the graphics teams to create artwork briefs.
- Collaborating closely with celebrity agents and brand ambassadors to secure paid and gifted influencer opportunities.
- Brainstorming and developing creative campaign ideas and coordinating media and ambassador events.
- Researching and reporting on all influencer activity via our influencer platform.
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and algorithm updates.

We Would Like To Meet Someone Who Is
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Social Media Executive. Ideally, within the retail or outdoor industry.
- A creative thinker and avid multi-channel media consumer who is up to speed on the latest algorithm updates, cultural and consumer-led trends.
- Who is incredibly organised.
- Passionate about social media with endless creative ideas for engaging, shareable, and innovative content and collaborations.
- Lots of experience in creative/content writing and negotiating with influencers and their agents.
- A love for social media and an eye for imaginative content across multiple platforms.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Capable of managing the monthly influencer budget.
- An enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- A passion for the outdoors.
