Holding some of the world’s leading brands on our client roster, we pride ourselves on innovating and creating performance-driving firsts for our clients.

We believe in meritocracy. If you want to work for an agency who will invest in you and your career, Campfire is the right place for those willing to step up and deliver as part of the team and for our clients. With quarterly PDPs rather than annual, your career can move as quickly as you do.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join our Social team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining social strategy, client leadership, creative thinking, and people management. You’ll take ownership of key client accounts while directly managing and developing members of the Social team.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social, understands what makes audiences stop scrolling, and can turn client objectives into genuinely social-first strategies and content.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll be expected to bring confidence, pace, and strong decision-making to the role. You’ll work closely with teams across the agency to ensure we’re delivering excellent work for our clients while supporting your direct reports to perform at their best.

What are the key responsibilities for the role?

  • Develop, implement, and oversee social media strategies across multiple clients and social platforms.
  • Take ownership of key client accounts, acting as a senior social contact and providing confident, strategic recommendations.
  • Directly line manage members of the Social team, providing regular 1:1s, feedback, coaching, and development support.
  • Set clear expectations for direct reports and support them in managing priorities, workloads, and client deliverables.
  • Review the quality of work produced across your accounts and team, providing constructive feedback and ensuring consistently high standards.
  • Lead the development of social-first content strategies, channel plans, and creative recommendations based on client objectives, audience behavior, and platform insights.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social channels.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, platform developments, cultural moments, and changes in audience behavior, identifying opportunities for our clients.
  • Work closely with Creative Strategy, Influencer, Client Services, and other teams across Campfire to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Oversee content planning and delivery, ensuring work is strategically sound, creatively strong, and delivered to deadline.
  • Use social performance data and insights to evaluate activity, identify opportunities, and continually improve client performance.
  • Oversee client reporting, ensuring we move beyond simply reporting metrics and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Present strategies, campaign ideas, performance, and recommendations confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the wider Social leadership team with resource planning, team development, and maintaining high standards across the department.
  • Identify potential risks, capacity challenges, or performance concerns within your team and escalate these appropriately.
  • Champion a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture within the Social team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
