SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Senior Social Media Manager to join our Agency Team - Is this your next opportunity?

As a Senior Social Media Manager, you will be the main day-to-day point of contact for the client and responsible for leading the editorial vision for a number of different brand channels across multiple social platforms. This includes overseeing all content output - working with an internal team including a Social Media Manager, Editors and Designers to deliver best in class content optimised for each channel.

Alongside the delivery of an always-on content calendar, you will be responsible for building social plans to support broader organisational campaigns, working with an in-house production team on ideation, briefing and the smooth delivery of video, graphical and image assets.

You will also be in continuous dialogue with the client team, so excellent communication, organisation and planning skills, teamed with a positive, problem-solving approach and an energetic and enthusiastic outlook is essential to the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident in guiding the client and the wider Little Dot team through the implementation of strategic recommendations.

Some weekend and out-of-hours work will be required on occasion.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Owning regular dialogue with the client team to deliver strategic objectives and communicating the state of play. Building a really strong, positive, collaborative relationship, built on mutual respect and trust.
  • Delivering the execution of the social media strategy in line with objectives
  • Overseeing the planning and maintaining of weekly and monthly content calendars across multiple channels and accounts
  • Line management of a Social Media Manager, to manage day to day workflow and deadlines and management of a design and edit team to create scroll stopping visuals across the full suite of channels
  • Ideating creative campaign assets and working with a production team to deliver those assets
  • Working closely with the Partnerships Director and Senior Content Strategist to ensure wider strategic objectives are being considered and delivered against. Manage upwards successfully to ensure any issues/challenges/bottlenecks are communicated and resolved quickly.
  • Responsible for ensuring continual best-practice in content ideation, creation and publication across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok
  • Overseeing projects, workflow, and deadlines and ensuring consistent high-quality work
  • Overseeing community management across all channels
  • Developing and maintaining brand tone of voice and visual identity
  • Monitoring performance of content using platform analytics and working closely with the analyst team to gain insights into channel and content performance, utilising those insights to drive improvements/growth.
  • Contributing to regular insights reports and the presentation of the reports back to the client.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

  • Exceptional knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) and publishing content to these platforms.
  • Excellent understanding of platform analytics and reporting
  • Strong track record of developing and building positive relationships - becoming a trusted and relied upon advisor.
  • Strong track record of ideating and briefing content optimised for platform best practice
  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills are beneficial. Knowledge of working in Asana or similar project management tools is also a benefit.
  • Line management skills and experience, and ability to work with various teams.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong ability to plan ahead and liaise with stakeholders
  • Ability to be a real team player, with a can-do, positive attitude.
  • Great problem solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
